Can anybody tell me what's wrong with this? Any suggestions please and thank you.

The burner or the burner venturi is clogged. The burners are held in place with 2 bolts at the top and you need a 1/2 inch wrench. Remove the bolts and lift the burners off the brass orifices. Make sure all the holes are clear. If they are clogged they need to be drilled out. You should not have yellow in the flames in the burner tube.... kinda looks like the are sooting. This causes flames to come out the bottom of the burners.

My Ruud achhiever 90 starts to fire but as soon as the blower fires the burner goew out. I also noticed that the "igniter" on the end isnt firing. Could that cause the burner to not stay lit when the

There is an ignitor and a flame sensor. If the ignitor does not ignite the gas after a time, it goes out. If the flame sensor does not detect ignition the gas valve closes. When you start it you should see the ignitor come on like a light bulb and glow, then the gas valve opens and you get ignition. Then the flame detector turns on when the ignitor goes out. Flame detectors are like a chrome wire that has one connection to it and it sits part of the way in a burner. They get dirty and corroded. When that happens it shuts down. You can clean the flame detector with steel wool of scotch brite pads. Dont get too carried away doing that though.

Burner lights. Flame pulls away from burner and sensor. Unit shuts off

The first thing I would do is check burners to make sure they are clean. Often if rust particles or carbonsoot come loose from inside of the heat exchanger they can partially clog burner opening which causes increase in gas pressure to fewer ports. This can make the flame roll out of burner compartment shutting off flame rollout switch. With burners off turn thermostat down so that furnace won't come on and inspect burners. If they are dirty you can use shop vac with crevice tool to clean most of them. If needed the burners can be removed for cleaning. Usually all you have to do is raise up on the back end of burner and slide it backwards to clear air shutter and burner orifices and then remove. Clean one at a time and put them back in the same position they were in.When they are all back in furnace reset flame rollout and check furnace.
If burners are not dirty then I would have service tech. check gas pressure and repair as needed. Hope this helps you. Thanks

Gas flame shoots out of one of the valves when I attempt to light the burner, How do you remove the valve knob. There is a small hole at the bottom of the knob.

I'm assuming it isn't on a riding mower. Is this on a outdoor gas grill? That little hole, by the knob (usually two) is where the mixing air enters the burner. Most likely that burner's openings (holes the flames come out of) are clogged, preventing the gas from flowing to burner. Then it comes back out where the air is supposed to enter. Remove burner and either ,clean or replace.

Viking grill burner is clogged and fire is shooting out of knob. How do I clean my grill from excessive grease.

Is it still under warranty? I'd call Viking or a qualified repairman to fix it. If your burners are clogged, the flames should be coming out the venturi tube and flaming towards the gas valve knob. If the flames are coming out of the gas valve itself, then it will need to be regreased. If the burners can be removed without too much trouble, soak them in the sink with hot water and dishwashing detergent. Be sure to remove the knobs, so no one turns the gas on without the burners connected. If it's difficult, call a repairman.

The flame isnt coming out of the burner in the back

You may have to use some fine wire to clean each of the holes. Also, you may have reduced gas flow. The problem you are having indicates that you have to go through a procedure called "RESETTING THE REGULATOR". Turn the burners on for a minute and then off with the regulator and hose off the tank, then hook it back up and very slowly oven the tank. Then fire off the burners.

In the future, always turn the tank valve on s-l-o-w-l-y to prevent this problem.. Joe

Low flame on burner...

Remove the burner and check the flexible tubes for kinks or blockages. The flexible tubes usually just slip over the backs of the valves. Spiders love to get in there and block them. Also check that the holes in the burners are not clogged. Be careful when reseating the flexible tubes to be sure that they are properly seated on the back of the valves. Failure to properly seat the flexible tubes can cause leakage there, and the gas can ignite at the back of the valves and not reach the burner. Be certain that the replacement burner is designed to use with your grill and the flexible tubes mate properly with the back of the valves.
