Press and hold the reset button of the router for 10 seconds. The lights on the router will flash. When the power/ready light is solid again, the restore is complete.

I hope this helps!

Flash: CompactFlash not present I am getting above error when i power on a cisco 1841 router

Did you do anything to the compact flash, like try to format it and copy an image to it? Cisco routers are very picky about the formatting on the flash. It has to be formatted FAT16 and the image has to be the first file on the card.

Unable to move files from my mac to a external mac formatted usb storage drive

I believe the Belkin N750 is not compatible with Mac-formatted drives. I run Macs and while my N750 will see the drive, it is treated as read-only. Try reformatting in FAT-16, FAT-32 or NTFS.

After formatting, I don't know whether internet connection is is protected or not

How about resetting?
Hmm....internet connection protected?
You have to be more concrete in this case...

Formatting means:
I wiped the whole software off

resetting means:
I pushed the back button of the router for a couple sec.

Can't connect to my wireless router. I'm not using clear. How do I establish connection with wireless router?

Make sure the computer has the correct Security key installed and that the router and computer are using the same format ie.. 802.11 G or N or B. Most likely the Computer will support the G format so the router has to support the N or G format in order to communicate with it.

Problem reinstalling my linksys wireless router after format

Change your ip address on your computer temporarily to some number in the 192.168.1.X range so that it is on the same subnet as your router.
