Question about Nikon Coolpix 4500 Digital Camera
I hooked my camera to the tv to view photos and nothing came up on the tv screen. Then the camera started making a rather loud whirring noise, would not show anything on the camera's viewing screen and wouldn't turn off. I can't get any response from the camera no matter what I try to access. I removed the memory card, took the battery out and replaced it with a newly charged battery, neither of which solved the problem. The only way to get the camera to stop making the noise is to take the battery out.
The problem isn't fixed but I found out on the Nikon website that it may be due to an electronic component failure. I downloaded a form from Nikon to send it back in to them for free repair. I'll keep you on my list for future problems. Thanks.
