Electric scheme for caravan chateau touring 320, manufacturing year 1976 1.There are not working in the same time , supplied at 220V , the lightning at 12V and the 12 V water pump. 2. Suppling only from the car battery of 12 V, through the cable, the 12 V lightning and the 12 V water pump are not working; there are working only the circulation lights (position, signaling, etc). 3.We cannot be sure that the refrigeratior is working during driving (supplied by the 12 V car battery). That is why the electric scheme is absolutely needed.

Thank you for your prompt answer but, unfortunately I do not have any other information that the ones that I repeat below:

This is a caravan which is drown up by the car; it is a Chateau touring 320 model, manufactured in 1976; on the plate there is mentioned only Chateau Caravan N.V. HAMONT Belgie. We bought it last year from a dealer near Antwerpen and, having only 750 Kg, no documents were needed and so, we received no documents mentioning, manufacturer or other information.

We just found out that when supplied at 220V (i.e. in campings where we have this possibility) it is ok, lights, refrigerator and water pump work, but we cannot use in the same time the 12 V lightning and the water pump (which is also on 12V); respectively, the lightning and refrigerator work on 220V, and to have water we have to plug the pump cable into the transformer socket for 12 V.

If supplied by cable from the car battery nothing works in the inside of the caravan (only the position lights at the exterior of the caravan work).

Sorry, this is all the information I can provide.

As I wrote before, I need the wiring diagram for a caravan type Chateau tours 320 - Chateau caravan N.V. Hamont, Belgie, manufacturing year - 1976.It this a small caravan of 750 Kos weight, for 2 persons, endowed with refrigerator, gas stove, small bathroom with mobile WC seat.
The problem is that being connected to 220V, all 220V lights and refrigerator work, but the water pump is on 12V and also, above the stove there is a 12V light bulb. Well, these last two do not work simultanously; there is a transformer under the sink and I can connect there, at the 12V socket, either the light, or the water pump.
Another problem is that, if not connected at 220V, but connected to the car battery by the cable that is provided, only the trafic lights work; the refrigerator, having the switch on 12V position, does not work and also, the 12V light inside the carvan does not work. The light is not such a problem, but not having the refrigerator functioning if not connected at 220 V, this..is not ok.
Do you think that it is possible to get help for solving these problems? Is it any way possible to get the wiring diagram for this caravan or similar? Thank you!

Hello! Please identify the manufacturer of the caravan's chassis and motor home. There are many caravans using the name "Chateau". An example would be the 1976 Ford van with a Kit Manufacturing Company Motor Home installed called the "Chateau"...

Hello! I have sent a request to a company in the UK...When I receive an answer I'll send a comment...

This could prove to be a difficult set of drawings to acquire...An option is to use another caravan as an example...The circuity is often very similar...

    I'll keep you posted...Saailer

Hello! The following web site gives an example of how most caravans are wired...From this you can understand how yours is wired...The battery that is used is not like a car battery but one designed to deep cycle (be charged..then drained repeatedly without harm to the battery)...It can be charged in two ways...By the vehicle that is towing using its alternator or by the charger that is enabled when you are plugged into AC...From there to a fuse panel ...then on to lights, pumps, etc...

If you have a voltmeter you can test to find where the +12 volts is being lost...If you do not have the ability, I'll walk you through it...When the van is plugged into 220 the voltage across the battery goes from around 12 volts to 14 volts...This indicates the battery is being supplied with a charge...+12 volts should be present at the fuse panel...

    Web site is www.ccis.com/home/mnemeth/12volt/12volt.htm

I suspect there is not enough power to run the TV. Does it work in your vehicle with the supplied power lead.

The Schwinn Super Le Tours were made in Japan from 1976 to 1985. Your serial number "K6" would have been made in November 1976.

Our minolta 4000 copier machine is 110v supply but we here have 220v supply, kindly tell me what kind of changes i have to do in the supply board of machine to run on 220v supply with out adding additional...

You would not be able to modify your existing 110v power supply. You would have to have a 220v power supply. This would be nearly impossible to find tho as this machine is now more than 10 years old. I'll see if I can dig up a part number anyway just so you can do some searching.

Using dryer in 220V country

There are two systems in use in the states
110v dryers are available that fit a standard 11v 15a socket
110/220v fit the oversize 'dryer' sockets, and they are two 110v phases 90 degreees apart
the motor runs of a single phase 110v.
there is 220v between the 'outside', the active lines of the two phases, at any time, but it is not useable to provide mechanical power as a single service, due to the complicated shape of the wave form when you add out of phase voltages together, but is ok to drive the heaters, they have no mechanical efficiency requirement
A 2 phase 110v heater it means 3kw can be supplied without a 30 amp circuit
but it becomes difficult to use a single phase 220-240v transformer to provide 2x110v 90degree 2 phase current unless you specially buy one in. .
High power applications in 220-240v are generally supplied by 415v 3 phase 60deg supplies,

Any transformer would be onsellable at the end of your posting, to your replacement, who would doubtless be in the same boat as you, with a heap of 'stuff' that needs to run.

UK Aus NZ may be sources of transformers, or dryers to suit.
check with Australian UK NZ suppliers as well as local Indian ones, as those countries are also nominal 240v single phase home suplies and they may have (1) the dryer, or (2)the transformer to suit the 110 2 phase dryer
