Question about InFocus Proxima UltraLight X350 Multimedia Projector

1 Answer

My ultralight x350 cannot seem to locate a source. (flashes green light and occasionally goes stable green for a short while as if trying to find a source). Lamp is not on either. this problem occurs with the video source and direct laptop source too.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Not picking up laptop as a source

the resolution may be different. the max resolution on the x350 is 1280x1024. if your laptop is any higher, you'll have to drop it. also make sure the cable is good.

Firmware flash Proxima X350

Hi,

Make sure the projector is in flash more before connecting. (read flash instructions)
When it prompts for drivers show the uncompressed flasher program catalogue. It should find the drivers for 'Infocus Projector Flash'.
After this you can run the program and continue normal flashing procedure.

Good luck.

Broken Fans

no. try moving the temperature sensors (follow the 2 black wires) to a cooler location. or sever them and jumper the wires. if the sensor is failing, it'll tell the fans to stop or always go.

Proxaima ultralight x350 light turning off

Hello fellows,
I have the same problem with my projector (Proxima UltraLight X350). I have the firmware v1.34.
On my projector, I found a workarround : if I press the 'top arrow' button on the projector at the message prompt, this one simply disapears and the projector works for hour. The drawback is the red led that don't stop blinking.
Can you cooperate and tell us if this solution worked on your projector ? Please also join the firmware version (found in the service menu, with the lamp life).
Cordially,
Tristan

Proxima Ultralight x350 no valid input source error?

reset the settings to factory default. if that doesn't work, the lamp may not have enough power to stay on. if the lamp doesn't have many hours on it, it's the ballast.
