Hi I've got an old nhj jukebox vhd-5500. I really need some new foam pieces for the headphones. Can I buy this from you?

1. Bluetooth option: need to buy a USB Bluetooth adapter (make sure it supports Bluetooth A2DP profile and (optional) AVCP profile and Bluetooth speaker or Bluetooth headphones (or both speaker and headphones). I have to warn you that finding a Bluetooth adapter that works with yor computer may not be an easy task.
2. Regular wireless headphones (no speaker). Attach the transmitter piece to your jukebox's headphone jack and listen through the headphones from anywhere in your home.

hey ! of course it's possible to open the ear piece !!!!!

all you have to do is to pull the foam off (it's not too hard :)
then you'll have to unscrew 3 tiny screws (get a really tiny screwdriver....and voila :)

The cable that is used in the headphones is actually very low quality and very weak so easily broken, You may be able to remove the wiring from another pair of headphones and use it.
Unfortunately Skullcandy are not a high end brand so no spare parts are really available as they are made in china as you can see on the following link.

If you remove the pads you should be able to peel away whats left of the foam. All you really need to do is find some foam to replace it. Shop around take a piece with you at, say a fabric shop or something dealing in foam. You might need to cut it to size, then just glue it in place.

I hunted around. No luck. Then I stopped in an found the perfect fit from of all places Radio Shack. The Earpads come with a smaller pair and you have to buy both but they are an excellent replacement. The Radio Shack replacements are #330-0288 - Replacement Headphone Earpads - $6.99 USD.

I have the same problem with a pair of Fostex Headphones. I have taken them apart and I have removed the rubber type ring that the foam fits over.
I am going to order a cheap pair of thin foam Headphone ear covers from Ebay. (They are available in various sizes) and stick the foam to the ring and follow that
by sticking the ring back in. Should work if the foam is thin enough. What do you think?

Try going to Ebay and buying a battery for the Handspring Treo 300. They are very inexpensive. The battery is about the same size. The connector is a little bit different but seems to fit OK. The Treo 300 battery has been working in my VHD-5100 for about a year now.

CHECK THE MEMORY CARD IT MIGHT HAVE GONE BAD. TRY PUTTING ANOTHER MEMORY CARD AND TURN IT ON.
