Hi.

If you are talking about audio commentary, ensure that you have set properly the options on DVD on-screen menu. Use the audio select button to select the proper audio track.

If the problem happens on all DVD disks, and you always get the audio commentary as default audio track, then it can be a firmware issue.

If it only happens with a specific disk, then the disk may be defective.

Regards.

How to turn off audio commentary when it is playing some films?

On the remote will be either a button marked "status" "display" or "sound mode". Push that when the DVD is playing. If you see "1 English" or "2 English" or even "commentary" in the OSD. Then you have found the way to change the soundtrack. Pressing the up, down, or sideways arrow keys should take you to the place of the "1 English" etc and highlight it. You should then be able scroll to one that turns off the commentary off. For example 1 English might meant just the normal soundtrack in English, 2 English might add subtitles. If the film has other languages these will also appear. Some might have Dolby soundtracks and other modes so if you want these make certain you select them.
Sorry I can't be precise as to which button to press as you didn't state make or model number.

You asked,
" Its like a blind setting or commentary setting. I want to take it off and watch my dad normally."
I can't make sense out of this question.
Are we getting a partial conversation here? Is this part of a discussion that you started with someone else?

We have running commentary in the background of programs

Sounds like you may have accidentally set the SAP on your TV, or you have the commentary track set to on on your DVD player.
In either case, easy fix. If you have a SAP button press that and see if it helps. If you do not have a button there should be a setting under sound in the TV menus.
For the commentary on DVD you should be able to go into the DVD menu and select Audio/Sound and make sure commentary is not selected.
For any further assistance I will need more information on your issue

Can't hear commentary on new Madden 12. Everything else seems fine and commentary is turned on

Thats normal when DVD are about to fail, you will be needing a new drive or you can get a Lens cleaner on your store near you, REMEMBER your disk cleaner must say compatible for xbox ps3 or wii or it will damage your system.

Thanks

Where to download commentary file for cricket 2007

If the game didn't originally have a commentary in it, you probably won't be able to find a commentary file, because from a programming standpoint the code would actually need to be rewritten to have it.

For example, if you scored a goal, a pointer in the code would have to activate, or point to, the "Goal!!!" sound for it to work.

Please go to the Main Menu. Then go to Game Options and look for the Speed Play section. If Speed Play is turned on, do turn it off. This should turn the commentary back on.
