You have to tun the auxillary on either while the radio is on in menu. Or in standby go into menu and turn on your aux. function.
Hope this helps if not write back. Leave feedback if this helps.

How do you hook up an i-pod to a KDC-135 AND HEAR IT?

You will need a 3.5mm mini to mini cable (available at any good car audio store for between $10-20. Plug that into the headphone jack on your ipod and then into the aux input on your stereo. Then select aux-in as the source on your Kenwood. Now play the music on your ipod at about 3/4 volume on the iPod.

How do you use the AUX imput on the Kenwood kdc mp205

if there is no aux port on the front(if there is just plug it in and press source till it displays aux) it is in the rear you will need your deck keys to remove the stereo and most likely it is a rca to 3.5mini jack run this cable to your glove box

Hi, the tape deck in my 2004 Ford Taurus SEL wagon is running slow, so music played sounds off. I am thinking of purchasing a tape converter for our mp3 player in the car. Will the slower speed affect...

well first off have you thought about getting a CD deck that has AUX input so you can hook up your MP3 to the deck by an AUX cable. as far as the tape player running slow i would say it needs to be cleaned by a professional because the little rubber belt may be going bad also. If you want to go to a AUX CD deck look at crutchfield.com or go to an authorized kenwood dealer in your area and look for the kenwood KDC-MP245. Going through the AUX instead of tape would sound a little bit better and if you want to go a bit better than the AUX then you should go to the KDC-HD545U. The KDC-MP245 is $99.99 before shipping and the KDC-HD545U is $169.99 before shipping. I hope I answered your question and please vote and leave high marks. Thank you very much.

I have a Kenwood Excelon KDC-X890 and somehow the AUX feature for my IPOD on the deck got turned off. How do I turn this back on?

From the stand by mode push the menu button. Scroll to the "Built in AUX" by pushing up or down on the Joggle. Now you can turn the function off or on by pressing to the right or left. Exit menu and Aux should be working.

Will the Kenwood KDC 1032 RCA outputs work with an ipod adapter similar to an aux output? If so, how?

Hi, if you are trying to get your I-pod to play through your car stereo, then you would need to have the RCA inputs, not outputs. If you connect your i-pod to the stereo outputs it won't work because both things are trying to push sound out of their outputs. If you connect the adapter to the stereo's inputs then it would work.

with the unit in standby, press the menu key, use the joystick control to choose aux, and set the aux option to "on"...then press menu again to save...when you next switch on the unit, using the SRC button you can cycle through the available options...cd - tuner - aux..etc etc
