My Fridge keeps freezing things on the top shelf of the refridgerator and is also dripping water that leaks from the top of the fridge down to the bottom, collecting in the crisper drawers. It was doing this about a year ago and then it just stopped blowing cool air all together. I had a repairman come out and he replaced something (I think the thermostat??) and it worked fine for about 3-4 months. No dripping or anything. Now it's up to it's old tricks.

Then it would be safe to assume the thermostat has again failed.
Make sure the evaporator is not iced up, and the fan is working properly. There may be an issue there causing the secondary failure.

Thanks!!

Water dripping inside KTLA22EMSS01

Your freezer actually cools your fridge. It sounds like you have ice build up in your freezer behind the back panel. You should be able to unscrew the back wall inside your freezer. A hair dryer should help defrost or keep it open for a few and use a screwdriver to remove the build up of ice. The ice has made its way down the vent and when it hits the fridge it is above 32 degrees so it is melting. Hope this helps. I manage rental properties and have had it happen on a few occasions.

Ge tfx25jrbb-ww refridgerator not cooling

The first thing to check is if you can hear the fan running inside the freezer. This not only keeps the whole freezer cold it alspo circulates air down to the refrigerator keeping it cool as well.

We just purchased this model, and the items in our refridgerator keep freezing, including the milk in the door. We have turned down the setting to 2 and it keeps occuring, is this common? Mostly things...

I've actually ran inti this problem alot. its just a design flaw. the objects that are freezing are close to the direct flow of cold air coming from the freezer into the fresh food compartment. adjusting the temperature will result in the same condition. The only thing you can do is rearrange products closest to the air duct. You may even gave to rearrange the shelves. Just ran into this same problem yesterday when i was dispatched to a customers home. Its just a stupid flaw in the design of the fridge.
