One of my xbox controllers wont connect to the xbox the controller turns on but it wont connect ive tried everything thats been posted but nothings worked. i have two controllers and the other one works...

You've attempted to sync it right? You click and hold the sync button on both the xbox and controller until each one is spinning around. Then it should grab and connect. hilldav9.jpg

Just got play and charge kit and i put the rechargeable battrey pack in and pluged it in but now the controller and console are not reading snigle

sometimes the xbox has a syncing problem, then controller when turned on turns on the console, so it is obv working but dosnt connect after that, i had this problem and what i did was as followed, 1. turn the console on dont use the controller hold the sync button on the Console for 30 seconds, after this turn off the console and remore the power plug from the console and your mains, now wait about 5 miutes, then plug it up, first click the xbox sync button, and hold the remotes sync, this should then work. if not i suggest contacting microsoft, http://www.xbox.com/support

Xbox 360 wireless contoller won't sync with game console

If you're using an HDMI connection between the Xbox 360 and the TV, it might be that. When using HDMI, the Xbox won't boot up until it knows what the TV is capable of displaying. Although the controller will turn the console on, it won't sync with the console -- and it's not a controller or console problem, but just a symptom of the fact that the Xbox won't get to the point where controllers will sync until it can properly communicate with the TV. I'd recommend turning off the TV and the Xbox, disconnecting the HDMI cable and re-connecting it after making sure the contacts are clean. Then turn the Xbox back on first; you'll likely to see the same behavior. Finally, turn the TV back on. With it being switched back into HDMI mode, it just might "kick-start" the Xbox into a good communication link across HDMI. Hope that helps.

Xbox 360 wireless controller not connecting.

it sounds like your controller keeps losing sync with the 360.

- turn them both off
- turn on the 360 with the power button on the console
- wait for it to start up, then press the sync button next to the usb flap on front.
- then press the sync button on the controller (by the recharge connection slot)

That should reset it.

Xbox 360 controller won't connect to console

If your controller is not assigned a position, and pressing the sync buttons on both the console and the controller don't fix it (i.e. they both spin for a bit, but then the console's lights turn off and the controller's return to a pulsing pattern), the the problem is actually likely to be your TV, believe it or not. The issue is HDMI -- it's a secure connection between the Xbox 360 and the TV, and if there's an issue with that connection, the Xbox won't even be able to turn on since it'll be unaware of the TV's resolution, color capabilities, etc. Try turning off the TV and then turning off the Xbox. Keep the TV off and turn the Xbox console back on. You'll see the same behavior; but now turn the TV back on and you should see the controller get assigned a position. As soon as the Xbox is aware of what it's connected to via HDMI, things start to work again.
