Turn on Copier. warms up. hear noise like gear slipping, power reduces and indicator switches between L and 1. No buttons function. Open side door and fromt door remove toner cartridge and drum. Replace and close doors

Same thing, flashes between L and 1.

The "L" light indicates that the "scan head locking system" is in the lock position. It is located under the document glass (where the copies are dispensed) just turn it from the lock to the unlock position and it should reset the light

Mx2300 write code f2-70 after replacing the black cartridge

Hi,
F2-70 is indicating an improper toner cartridge K.
If you have just changed the black toner cartridge & the error appeared then the new toner is at fault.
Replace the toner cartridge with another cartridge, turn the machine off & back on & the machine should reset.
Hope this helps.
Dave.

Canon error code E000066-0002

Hello,

You should look at the 4 sensors behind the grey front plate, behind the front door, toner fall from hopper assembly on it and cause these codes ( each color cause a different code ), you should order a modified cable guide that protect sensors from toner and replace it after cleaning these sensors.

If the error code still appear you should change the toner supply motor ( each color have a different code ) or the PCB relay Kit (if i remember well you should also verify somme connectors on this PCB that can cause this problem)

Need to go to an office products company and purchase a toner cartridge. You might be able to have your toner cartridge refilled for half the cost of a new cartridge $80.

We replaced the toner and it is still saying "toner life end replace toner cartridge." and we can't get it to print or fax or copy

I have a brother mfc 7840w

I first used the electrical tape trick and that worked for a while. Then got the toner low message again. I then tried the *00 trick, which works as follows:

1. lift lid and open front cover
2. press clear/back. "Replace Drum?" will appear on the screen.
3. Press "*00" it will then read accepted and the toner low error (End of Toner Life) should go away.
4. close it all up and your done.

Konica minolta error

I had the same problem and found that one of the toner cartridges must have not been seated properly. I removed the black toner cartridge and re-fitted it. The printer now works fine again with no errors. 17H is a code relating to a fault in the rotation ......... possibly one or more toner cartridges need checking. Use the menu on the printer to turn it to the appropriate position (i.e. engine menu then select replacement of whichever toner you are checking).
Hope this fixes your as well.
