Tv not turning on. what could be problem. lol well
please post size and model number aka m/n
1 have you checked if its plugged in? lol
2 is there a power indicator?what is the normal light that you see on your tv? and what is it now
a-if your tv's light is normal the innerlight went out or a bad light power circuit board. dismantalling device required and you can purchase a replacement from a seller on ebay (basically someone that has a large collection of TVs that had something wrong and didnt have replacement so selling the good parts).
3 if light different, blinking or solid when supposed to be blinking. a-bad power board. dissasemble and replace from ebay. (cheap alternative that will probabbly work is replacing blown capacitors on the board). dissasemble and desolder the capacitors and solder the new ones from ebay
4 is screen broken?
a-get a new tv
5 reassemble enjoy
if steps dont point in right way then you probably need different kind of help. maybe tv breaking not bad.

Try unplugging it for a few and starting over, check your connections. If that does not help it is probably broken. This brings you to the bigger problem, It is no mystery why all of these new "no name" TV manufactures are so much cheaper than 1st tier products. Some of it is quality, but the biggest reason you spent a few to maybe several hundred less than the Sony, Toshiba, Samsung, Mitsubishi, etc. is after the purchase support. If your TV is broken chances are it is not getting fixed. There is no such thing as Digital Lifestyle replacement parts, service centers, service manuals, etc. If a company can build a TV then wash their hands of it they can sell it much cheaper. Name brand manufactures produce original replacement parts for years, they set up authorized service centers all over the country and they publish service info for their servicers. You might take it in somewhere for a look, sometimes it is something simple or basic electronic circuit failures that can be repaired with common generic components, but if you need something specific, it won't happen. You say it is "new" if it turns out broken and you can return it, do it, go smaller with a name brand or spend the extra few hundred bucks. Don't get me wrong name brands break too, the difference is they are repaired and you move on rather than throwing it away and buying again. People are discovering there is nothing more expensive than a cheap TV. Good Luck

I use my Directv remote to change the channel. What you have to do is go the your direct tv remote go to setup then go to remote then look for tv brand Citizen then follow the direction the menu tells you to do. It works fine. You can use Tv Brand Citizen, Concerto, Luxman They work with any u-verse remote 4 digit code 0056 5 digit code 10056

Your back-lighting is failing. This is part of the LCD panel and can not be repaired without replacing it. Due to the cost of the panel, best advise would be to replace the TV. Sorry for the bad news... you should check into your warranty status.
