Question about GE Monogram Side by Side Refrigerator
We have a recent leak in the chilled drinking water line somewhere on the refrig side if our 2003 Monograsm ZFSB23DND SS. Icemaker works, thre is a delay when getting drinking water, and after it flows there is water dripping from the underside of the fridge side.
I pulled from wall and removed back plate covering motor and the leak is not visible from the back. It is visible by peeking under the kickplate in the front.
Csn i empty the whole thing, tilt it over, and see whatever i need to replace? Sounds like a cracked plastic hose or connector issue between the chilled reservoir in the fridge and the plastic tube that comes out and heads for the freezer door.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

check for levelness of the ice maker also make sure that the fill tube is inserted all the way into the unit

Your drain tube may be stopped up with ice at the upper end
because it drains too slow because it's stopped up at the lower end in the
evaporator pan under the unit at the floor. It can get dust and mold in it.
Once you get the ice out at the top a little pressure with a turkey baster will usually clear it out. Flushing
it out with hot water and clorox may help.
Make sure it drains quick enough to prevent refreezing. . The drain should be located below the evaporator coils on the lower back of the freezer.

SOURCE: noisie fan in the freezer.
Did you turned the unit ON besides of just pluggin it into the wall???
When you plug unit into wall outlet you still need to turn unit ON manually.
Setting either or both controls to OFF stops cooling in both the freezer and fresh food compartments, but does not shut off electrical power to the refrigerator.
The temperature controls are preset in the factory at 37°F for the fresh food compartment and 0°F for the freezer compartment. Allow 24 hours for the temperature to stabilize to the preset recommended settings.
The temperature controls can display both the SET temperature as well as the actual temperature in the fresh food and freezer compartments. The actual temperature may vary slightly from the SET temperature based on usage and operating environment.
Keep me posted!!
