It is certain that the fuses in each of the units power supplies will be blown but I would recommend that you get both in for servicing as sometimes changing the fuses INSIDE and trying them again CAN cause more damage - and more cost to repair.
just follow the power cord where it goes into the tv and there is a small glass fuse right there, check to see if the small wire inside it is burnt out or if the fuse appears to be white or black inside.
It sounds like you may have a bad Horizontal Output Transistor (HOT)
and/or a bad Flyback Transformer. The set is trying to start as
indicated by the flashing light, but an internal fault is shutting it
down right away. It could also be the Power Supply circuit. A
32in. set is not cheap to replace so it may be worth finding a repair
technitian and at least getting a quote. The Flyback is the most
expensive part, the others are minimal. If it is one of the above
problems it could easily be repaired by a qualified technitian.
Check soldered in fuse R607 in power supply circuit =
If open, replace it and bad converter xistors ( 2SC4834)
Next, replace shorted horizontal output transistor w/ first Quality.
Solder any / all bad connects, esp.horiz drive to base of horiz.
o / p xistor. Soldering is critical or it will blow up again......
The over current protection (OCP), unit goes to the standby mode then displays the 2 blink fault. Could be a short in the power supply of any of the circuits. It's best to have a Certified TV repairman look at it. Generally when this happens, the TV keeps getting worse and repairs can get expensive.
If the repairs are over $300, then I would look into buying a new set.
Hi I have a Samsung Tantus Dynaflat 32 inch flat screen TXN3298hf that all of a sudden stopped working...no power no nothing. We opened up the back and found that a 5 amp fuse had blow. This fuse regulates that power supply to the tv and can be found at the end of the power cord prior to the circuit board. Hope this helps.
