My extra large capacity Whirlpool dryer does not dry in one cycle. Even if I only put a small load it takes at least 3 cycles to dry

There maybe an air flow issue. With the dryer on check the air flow from the exterior location of your home. There should be a good flow of warm/hot air coming out. If not the inside of the dryer may be full of lint.

How do you replace the heat element on a whirlpool LER8648 dryer?

Before replacing the heating element, check first the continuity of the thermal cut-off and the high-limit thermostat located on the heater box, the resistance of the heating element, and the continuity cycling thermostat located on the blower housing. Replace the heating element only when it reads open. Replace both the thermal cut-off and the high-limit thermostat should any one of them is found open. The cycling thermostat must have continuity between its thicker terminals; otherwise, replace it.

All of the above components are accessible through the rear of the dryer. Remove the rear panel by removing the screws securing i to the dryer cabinet. Replace the heating element by removing the screws attaching its housing to the heater box then securing the new heating element housing in place.

Whirlpool Electric dryer type-DWJR-ELE-2406028-FM54. model LER7646JQO the heating element get very hot. the dryer does not turn on. the drum does not turn either.

If the heating element is getting very hot that means there is no air flow across it. If the drum doesn't turn then the blower is not turning causing the element to get very hot. Could be drum belt, drum rollers, or motor.

My dryer is not getting hot its not drying clothes even when they have been in for 3 hours

Is dryer getting warm at all. If it is your heater and t-stats are fine. Make sure it is exhausting to uotside properly. Turn dryer on and go to outside exhaust. you should leel air coming thru pretty good. If low air flow pull dryer from wall, disconnect hose at wall and using leaf blower blow the exhaust out to the outside. Impotant thing to remember is blow from behind dryer at the wall to the ouside. Not outside in. Also, electric works better than gas blower due to exhaust fumes caused by gas leaf blowers.

Dryer not drying well

Most of the time when a dryer does not do well in drying it isn't getting the airflow it needs to get the moisture out. Heat alone will not dry things. If you can reach your outside dryer vent outlet, turn your dryer on and see if you are getting a good amount of warm air. You can also try the same at the back of your dryer by unhooking the hose. If there is a noticeable difference, your vent system may need to be cleaned. Dryers put out a LOT of air, it is low pressure, but high volume. If you are not getting much out of your dryer, chances are the lint is clogging up most likely before the blower motor.

Also another possibility is that you have the airflow and limited heat. Check the airflow first after you have run it on high heat for about 1 minute, if you do not feel warm/hot air coming out, you may have a problem with a high limit fuse (temp fuse) or a thermostat that isn't working.

That's all I can come up with on the limited information.

MY DRYER IS NOT RELEASING THE AIR OUTSIDE AND MY DRYER IS GETTING SUPPER HOT ON TOP

squished vent hose behind dryer, then clogged vent, then dirty lint filter, then lint built up inside dryer because of vent issue, after fixing vent issue, remove lint from inside blower area filter area etc.

I have a Whirlpool dryer model LGN2000PWO. It

you have an air flow problem. plugged lint screen, dryer vent partially or totally plugged with lint. dryer sheet stuck to the back wall iside the dryer. outside vent cap plugged or not opening. collapsed dryer vent or vent with too sharp of bends in it. and worse case scenario the dryer blower wheel too full of lint. this is provided the thermostats that the tech put in were of the correct heat range and limit.
