Question about Frigidaire GLEQ2152ES Electric Dryer
My dryer comes on, it works but, it is not heating up to dry the clothes what is wrong with it?
Remove the exhaust vent tubing and thoroughly clean it. The best way is to take it apart piece by piece if it is made with sheet metal. If its the cheap accordian stretch tube throw it away and get the right tubing for it. Lint catches in the spiral folds and collects very rapidly causing to clog up. When it does the moister sensor detects the clog for the heat will not vent through the exhaust tubing. When that happens the sensor shuts down the heating process. If your vents are clean and clear the sensor is at fault so replacing that will be your task

If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heating the most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glows sometimes it is still not working properly.
