Question about Gateway FPD1975W 19" LCD Monitor
When i switch on my laptop, and after some few minutes.. its monitor got turned off but its CPU is still running.. pleae help....
Try hooking up the external and THEN turn on the laptop to see if you get the picture OK. Most failure are due to bad backlight inverter board, you can also check to see if the connection to the inverter baord is OK, it is located under the front bezel of the laptop.
