What will happen to your car if a ground wire is loose

Whatever part, motor, or electrical load that ground is for will not work. For instance, a motor is an electrical load, put power to it -it won't operate without a path to ground after the load. A lighting bulb is an electrical load. Send power to it. and the bulb won't light, power will not travel through the bulb filament making it bright, without a path to ground after the bulb. Every electrical load has to have a path to ground, or it will not work-the reason for the term "circuit"-every wiring circuit (starting circuit, light circuit, ignition circuit, etc.) begins at the power source and ends at the power source. The ground completes the circuit back to earth (ground), and as you know, all grounds go to metal frame, and thus go back to the battery. If the circuit is not complete, the electrical load will not operate. See?

How to load up a generator without drawing power.

You can't load the engine without applying a load to the generator. rent a load bank and conenct it to the generator, then you can load it to capacity before turning it loose on your electrical equipment, that is the best way to load the engine.

I have JVC compact VHS,videomovie GR-AX35. My probelem with this unit I can't put on the power. When I open it the unit trip-off. Actually I have change the battery to a new one.

This is due to a fault in the servo system / control system. If there is a error in the loading then due to the loading being off mode the controller can trip off power.
Also check the power section and the capstan/drum motor section.
Check if loading is back to parking mode. If not unwind and allow the loading to park and see if the power latches. if so check the loading motor drive .

I have a performance teknique ICBM power 4000 watt 1 ohm when I put the load to 1 ohm it goes to protect **** at a 4 ohm load it slaps dosnt clip are anyting is it a power problem

check that load with an ohm meter. a 1 ohm load is very low and just the wires would increase the load. also as speakers age they can go lower on the actual ohm being used so even if the circuit would seem to add up to one ohm it may be even lower. If the amp is going to protect mode the load is just to great and it doesn't want to burn itself up. a good meter will tell you the real ohm load at the amp. make sure you get a good connection between the meter and the load. don't overload the amp it is not safe. also some speakers are "power hungry" or less effective at using the amps watts of power

Ultra 750 watt power supply ,+12 dc volt output showing ac component of 1.5 to 2.7 volts on new unused ps

Is this with or without a load?
There is always some ripple on the DC output of a switching mode power supply, and the less the load, the greater the ripple.
Measure the power supply under full load, that's the real test!

24hr timer to 240v lighting receptical need the wire diagram

As for the Contacts wiring, there are TWO,, One contact will be wired to the Supply and Power IN to the Timers Phase + power &, Phase + IN Contacts. There will be TWO wires on that Terminal. The Timers other Power in wire is Neutral neg, it is Common, and connected to Neutral.. The other side of the Contacts goes to the Pfase + side of the Load. There will be only ONE wire on that side going to the "Load". The LOAD goes to this "Other" side of the Timer Contacts, which are Normally Closed, the Other side of the contacts, as said, goes to the Phase + on the LOAD & of course, the other side of the LOAD goes to the Neutral.Common. Now the Timer has power all the time, and when the timer "Times Out" the connection to the "Load" will be "Broken" when the Contacts "Open". Be safe.

The heater is not going to the house?

The power for the timer is seperate from the power for the load.

Get your wiring diagram out and reference Terminal # 4. Terminal 4 is the power input to the load relay.

4 = power input to the relay
3 = normally open (powers up the load in a positive on command)
2= normally closed (powers up the load in a off command)

You can use the same power as you are using for the time or use a seperate power circuit and the load terminals (2,3 and 4) are isolated from the timer control circuit.

Define line vs load for intermatic t101

Simply put line is where the power is coming from, and load is where the power is going to. Your breaker panel would be the line side, and the device you are powering is your load.

Whats the max power of the system

paulcreber19, All audio amplifiers have their outputs measured for power output using a pure sinewave input of 1khz. With the outputs loaded with the appropriate noninductive, noncapacitve, purely resistive load (1% tolerance load resistors), a RMS voltage reading is made just prior to driving the amplifier into distortion or peak clipping of the output waveform. Knowing the RMS voltage and the OHMIC value of the load you will be able to calculate the RMS current (I) and then calculate the power using variations of OHMS LAW to find RMS power output. To calculate the absolute PEAK power (a measurement not used for rating audio amps anymore) you simply multiply the RMS power by 2.828 to arrive at PEAK pwr. So, your question should have been what is the power output per channel @ 1khz sinewave and less than 1% distortion with an 8 ohm, 16 ohm, 32 ohm load applied to the output. I'm pretty sure this is correct. If not, please let me know where I screwed up.
Bye for now. 12fixlouie
