I have a USB port with some important information on it and suddently it became locked. When I place it in the computor and run an analysis on it. I am told that the Port is working properly yet the port is locked. Unfortunately I have an important school paper on this port and I need it. I took the port to curcuit city and I am was told that I will need to pay $200-600.00 in order to get this port unlocked. I am a college student and I do not have that kind of money. I really need this port unlocked. Can you please help me. Kim

does it have an usb port, cable and drivers cd with it? - connect to a pc with usb 2.0 port, if recognized by sytem your the lucky one: get some mp3's, copy them onto the player (use it s if it was an usb-stick), disconnect, press play
if it stores the data on a little flash-card (similiar to mobile phone cards), retrieve the card and find a pc/laptop with a card reader, put some mp3 on that machine, copy to card, re-insert- press play
OK, they're wrong. The USB port isn't locked - the player is locked. Find the lock or hold switch on the side of the player and set it to OFF - see manual for details (BTW, if you have the manual or a link to the manual, post it here - we've been trying for months to get one).
