Please see this page CLICK HERE If the gun won't feed the wire - the problem lies within the control box (onboard relay) What components are you using on the trailblazer? Thanks!

My welder won't feed wire it sounds like it's trying to energize but can't. A couple of times it fed through but wouldn't feed to weld so I had stick weld. What happens if the liner has a restriction?

first unscrew the tiny tip at very end of torch (can be hot)!! then try to feed wire thru handle, gently shake cable as you do helps to feed wire thru cable , if successful you have allowed the amps to get too high for the feed rate (slow) and melted the tip closed , these tips are replaceable from miller and are not expensive

MIG welder 250 feeding wire at erratic speeds

Gun trigger contacts or switch circuit is closing somewhere (shorting). Unplug connector and jump the two terminals if it works and will weld disconnect jumper if problem persists it is not in the gun or cable hose. Keep chasing it far as possible without taking bolts or screws out of machine unless you know what that stuff inside will do to you, pretty sure the problem is not in there anyway.

When I go to weld the wier will feed but it will not strkie an ark

Hi:

I suposse that you are using a wire briefcase (?), if so there is only one lead from the wire feeder to connect to the engine drive, that one goes to (+) stinger side and the briefcase has one volt sensing clamp, this one goes to your metal piece as same with the ground cable from the engine drive. If still you don't have a spark using the wire feeder but you do with the engine drive (stick welding) then your problem is your gun.

Email back if need more troubleshooting.

I have a 50A spoolgun and wc-24 controll box, but i cain't adjust the heat, and it is way to hot, any ideas as to what the problem may be. it worked fine one day and the next day it was too hot and...

The control box for the spool gun it's just an adapter to feed the right voltage to the wire feed motor, the heat (voltage) must be adjusted from the three knobs:
1) Process Contactor knob must be dial on wire feeder CV using remote.
2) Polarity Must be set on DC
3) Voltage, depends on thickness of your work piece and wire gage, but 20 volts must be enough for up to 1/4" thickness and 035 4043 aluminum.

I never heard of a 50A spool gun, probably you meant 30A.

If your voltage it's erratic check the following:

Clean and tighten connections both inside and outside unit.

Check and secure lead connections to remote control.

Be sure connection to work piece is clean and tight.
Remove excessive coils from weld cables.

If continues to be too high (hot) and can't control it, then you should send your machine to be checked that's probably a problem with the PC1 or PC2.

If this was useful to you please vote. Thank you and good luck.
