Question about Nokia 6555 Cell Phone
I bought a Nokia 6555 on eBay. It developed a software fault and stopped working. I live in the UK. Our local repair centre said that they cannot fix it because it has American software. It is AT&T branded.
Is there a way to wipe the American software off the phone and put UK software on it? Would doing a firmware update help?
Yes, it might help. You can also update the software version or the custom version. If you are doing the update by yourself, you want to be careful in case your phone freeze in the middle of the update process.
