Have music on the SD card when was in my blackberry pearl - can't get my casio boulder to read the music and don't have a cord. I've tried taking the music off the card using a computer and cleaning the card off and then putting the music back on and my phone still won't read the music.

Dear Friend,

This is a very common issue and can be fixed very easily. Download all those songs into the defaul music folders or else change your memory settings.ie play music from memory card instead of main memory.

This should work

A lot of times, it's simply the name of the folder.....some devices put it as "MUSIC" or "music" and so forth. For the Boulder, your music needs to be in a folder titled "my_music"!!!

I have the a Casio Keyboard that has an SD slot, but whenever i put songs on my SD card & then plug it into the keyboard, it says that there is an ERROR . What am i supposed to do . Step by Step . to...

Does it say ERR NO FILE? If so, then read on. The reason you have this error is because you don't have a folder on your sd card named MUSICDAT. Solution:
  1. Insert your sd card into computer
  2. Make folder called MUSICDAT.
  3. Then, transfer all files inside the folder (make sure your songs are in MIDI format).
  4. Safely remove your sd card.
  5. You're ready to put it in you Casio Keyboard!
If you still get the error, take time to read you manual. Read the "using the sd card" part. The folder name might be different for your Casio Keyboard (because mine's a CTK-5000).
...and IF you still get the error, perhaps the songs you meant in your question are MP3 songs (like the ones you play on the iPod)? Then, that's a different topic... :)
Well then, good luck!

Can't see files located on the 4gb micro sd hc memory card on my Blackberry 8100 Pearl. Path:Media/Music/Media Card - the folder comes up blank. Any ideas?

your card may not work with the blackberry. try formatting the card via it ebeing in the blackberry, and then put everything back on the card afterwards. it should work. if not again, your card might just not be compatible wit the phone

Ringtones

you have to format the memory card first to the phone.. easiest way to do this is to take a picture from the phone and transfter it to the card...

at this point the card will now have folders associated with the phone on it..

if you put your sd card into your computer and see any files that are not in a "my_pix, my_flix, my_ringtones etc" folder, drag them to the appropriate folder and you will be able to access them through the phone

so if you wanted to do ringtones drag the music into the ringtones folder. if you wanted music drag it to the music folder

My PC does not find my Blackberry Pearl. I'm trying to download some music to the device to listen as an MP3.

to do so you will have to download the Blackberry Desktop Manager with media manager

https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/browseSoftware.do;jsessionid=VjdY-jJYDP6kC4XecJSylg**

this will take you to the blackberry download page for desktop manager with media manager.
download and install it.
then plug your phone in via usb cord and will initialize.
in the desktop manager click on media manger and add pics, music and videos.

My blackberry stopped working after i put a micro sd card in

I would be more concerned as to the source you chose for the music and pictures you loaded onto your micro sd card, as depending upon the KIND of music and pictures and the tendency of such sources as you chose to provide your system with viruses..........

Remove the SD card, immediately and get your phone scanned for viruses along with your PC given the fact that all are apparently infected.

My blackberry stopped working after i put a micro sd card in

did you format the card first... this might help. It could be too much memory. I put an old SD card in from a former phone and it was doing the same thing...powering on and off repeatedly.
