Question about Magic Chef CAV2005A Top Load Washer
If it is a belt drive it could have burnt up, If if its direct drive the coupler. these would be the cheap fixes. But in both cases the motor could have burned up. The motor probably cost 120 plus or minus plus labor, a hundred or so. If its old maybe replace. If it was mine I would fix it.

No just call a tech and ask him to replace the motor and get it recoilled ,it should fix the issue up
