Same thing happened to me. I didn't drop it hard, it just slid to the floor, but it only goes on for a few seconds, buzzes the whole time, then shuts off. My shutter shuts when this happens though. I recharged the battery. No help. Any advice?

I too also dropped my camera, while it was in the clear silicone case. It turns on for a few secs and shows the polaroid screen... then shuts off without the shutter shutting, all the while making a buzzing sound. ANY SURE FIRE suggestions?

My polaroid t737 won't turn on. It comes on for a second, shows the polaroid screen, makes a buzzing noise, and then shuts off. I have charged the battery and have not dropped it or anything since i used it last week.

These little cameras are tough but almost everyone that has this problem has dropped there camera- dont hit, smack or slam it anymore just pull on the lens a little when it comes out maybe a little twisting too. but if ya keep banging on it it sure wont be long before it wont work at all. be nice to it. yo

Ihave the same problem. Its annoying. When you turn it on does it make a buzzing noise? Cause that's what mine does. Except I never dropped my camera. It just goes to the Polaroid screen and then turns off. I'm wishing I wouldve bought a different camera :( Sorry I can't help..

What does it mean if internal memory is full? cannot take pictures. changed memory card but still says internal memory is full polaroid t737 digital camera

To get your card to work, you must get rid of the pic's in the internal memory. With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format" and follow the on-screen instructions. After that, your card should work properly.

Polaroid t737 camera.what to do when the LCD comes on for a few seconds and then the camera shuts back down. the lens stays closed and doesnt move. Is there anything that can be done?

Your problem may be due to weak/worn out batteries or corrosion on the battery contacts inside the camera which can prevent the full power of the batteries from flowing into the camera. Try this free fix before you do anything else: remove the batteries and wipe the camera contacts firmly with a dry cloth (heavy corrosion may require cleaning with a wire brush, steel wool, or sandpaper). Remove any residue that may have fallen into the battery compartment during cleaning, then wipe both ends of the batteries and place them back in the camera. This cleaning clears the problem about 90% of the time. If it doesn't work for you, your batteries may need to be replaced, or the camera may have a problem that requires professional repair.

I have a Polaroid t737. I plugged it into a Mac OS X to try and download pictures, and the drive never showed up. Therefore I unplugged it from the computer. Now when I push power, the LCD comes on for a...

It is always a good idea to plug in these units before turning it on and turning it off before unplugging it.
What can happen is something like this:
When you plug in a live camera or anything else, you may get a voltage spike or some voltage going to the wrong place and damaging the unit, or the computer. The same is when you unplug it.
Taking precautions will prevent damage to the very intricate and sensitive circuits.
This could be what happened to you and your camera.
You could try to get the camera to the menus, if possible and set it to defaults.

For instance: Just using a keyboard on a computer with voltage on your person from walking across a carpet can blow out your computer and ruin it. If you have static problems in your work area, you should use a ground strip. Better safe than sorry!!

Your lens is stuck. You should contact the buyer and ask for a warranty or replacement. If they can't, try getting a service manual and it shold tell you how to fix it.

Camera turns on for a few seconds, then off.

A light rap with a knuckle when powering up fixed the problem, at least temporarily. Lens extended, camera works fine. Not exactly a technical fix, but it worked for me.
