Question about LeadSinger LS-3000 Consumer Microphone

My video isn't working right

When I connect the mic to older TV's the screen goes black and white and starts to flip and when I hook it up to newer TV's it's still black & white and the screen is off center. It goes to the bottom and I can't see the bottom of the third line.

I have the same problem, where the screen is black and white and the bottom lyric line is less than half visible. I've tried holding numbers 8 and 0 while powering up to reset the chip, but it doesn't help. I've had the mic for 4 years now, so maybe it just had a circuit go bad. Anyone else have this problem?

I just fixed my problem and the mike is working great! Try holding the number 9 then press and release the power button. I found this on the Leadsinger FAQ section and it worked. I'm pretty happy, as I really enjoy the chips I have for the mic!

I bought a ecm8000 mic recently thinking i was buying just a quality condenser mic...but apparently i've bought a measurement mic...how do i get it to work.? i have it hooked up to audiobox u

If it has the 1/4 inch type of male plug that is mono [a tip and ring connection only] you need to make up some sort of voltage/ bypass capacitor circuit. If you were to write to me directly, I can send you a simple circuit- computerlen@hotmail.com.

Wires broken off mic cartridge

Hello ,
the simple of knowing the connection is this , but when you open the mic you will see numbers on the terminal written 3, 2, 1.
this represent colour for the wires .
3 REPRESENT THE BLACK WIRE
2 REPRESENT THE RED WIRE
1 REPRESENT THE WHITE WIRE .
After soldering this should work.
Good luck...

Mic hooked up, but doesn't work?

You have to turn on the mic. volume. It always automatically turns off when you turn on the power again. Or, you can press the gain button (white button). Good luck!

Magic (karaoke) mic sound delay problem when connected to HDTV

Ok..I found a workable solution. Essentially using my HDTV only for the lyrics(video output) and using a RCA to stereo mini plug cable to send the sound output to my amplifier that has a analog stereo input. Works like magic. No delay. It went from being unusable to WOW!

Magic Sing EG-18000 Microphone Delay

i bought et18k. just the same as yours.its 2 days old and has the same problem. the technical assistant says that its because of the digital setting that new tvs have. there are two ways to solve this though:

1. connect the video (yellow plug) to the tv. and the other two plugs (yellow and white) to the stereo. when i say stereo, its not the dvd home theater system that you have but a separate one. if you connect it to the home theater that you have, it'll just sound the same, you still have the delay.

2. connect the magic sing to the older tvs hangin out. and you'll get no problem at all.

**TVs such as sony, samsung, philips, sharp and all plasma tvs including other newly designed tvs will have the delay since they all share the HDMI thingy that causes sh*t.

Cyber Acoustics PC Microphone Not Working Anymore

Well to find out if your computer even recognizes it, you need to right click the white speaker on the bottom right of your computer. Select audio devices. More than likely it will tell you it isn't connected.
I uninstalled the sound completely from my computer. Then i restarted the computer. This will reinstall the drivers for your sound and the one you need for your mic. I have vista but this should still work for XP.

-right click on computer (should be on ur desktop or under start menu)
-select manage
-device manager
-click on the plus next to sound, video and game controllers
-right click on the audio (high definition audio device)
-select uninstall
- restart your computer.

This will do the trick.
your computer should recognize the mic.

Vocal problem

hi there..if there is video and background audio coming out from the TV, and no voice recognition from the mic- then mic is the problem. I believed the problem is the "voice coil". This is a part that can be replaced- you can contact me and we can repair that.

two ways to check
remove the mic ball
the part which the mic ball is is covering is the voice coil.
try holding both terminals (black and white wire)- if there is feedback sound- it is open and need to be replaced
try using your tester- test the impedance- there should be 500- 600 ohms reading
