Question about SanDisk 1GB Cruzer Titanium USB Flash Drive (413072) Hard Drive

1 Answer

SanDisk Cruzer Titanium 2GB

On my Windows XP I copied a number of files to the flash drive and am now trying to upload them on my mac. My mac will not recognize the device at all. It will recognize my wife's Transcend immediately. Any ideas?

I found a really helpful solution elsewhere. I had to download the SanDisk uninstaller to uninstall the BS sync application. Once I did that and started from scratch my Mac and PC are reading the Flash Drive no problem.

You didn't' say which operating system you are using. Any current version of Windows (XP, Vista, 7) should be able to load a driver and not need a download for it. In any event, you can find the driver you need on the SanDisk website here:

How to use flash drive

Cruzer Micro is an USB external memory where you can store files.
It is automatically detected and installed on all Windows OS from Windows 2000 onward, same on Mac OS and recent Linux versions.
All you have to do is plugging the device into USB.
After the flash drive had been automatically installed , it will be displayed under Computer as an external disk.
You can copy and transfer files using Cut, Copy and Paste functions, or Send to function in windows, or the file manager, depending on the OS used.
In Windows, before unplugging the memory from USB , it is better to turn off the computer or use the 'safely remove USB' function located near to the clock, on the lower right hand corner.

Sandisk Cruzer Micro 2.0 problem

Should show up in "My Computer" as a removable drive with letter designator. Then it is simply a matter of drag and drop to copy files using the mouse. If XP doesn't recognize the drive, put it in another USB port, and or try it on another computer. If it doesn't show up then, take it back to the store.
