Question about Computers & Internet
yes, this is possible. Go to any computer accessories shop to purchase the cd/dvd-rw drive. Open your computer case and unscrew the old cd driver from your computer. You will see two wires connected to the cd drive. One is called IDE cable; which connects the cd drive to the motherboard, while the other is powering the cd drive.
Remove these wires and and connect them exactly the same way on the new cd/dvd-rw drive, screw back the cd/dvd-rw drive, screw back and that's all you need to do.
By now, you should have successfully installed your cd/dvd-rw drive
