Question about Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate Edition
If not, look for
you windows CD and try to boot using it. If the system is unable to
boot through the windows CD then its a hardware problem. If its able to
boot, then its a windows problem. Try this first.
You may have to delete the upper and lower filters of the drive.
1) Close all open programs
2) Click on Start, Run, and type REGEDIT and press Enter
3) Click on the plus signs (+) next to the following folders
At the right pane, look for upper and lower filters. Delete them both. Sometimes you will only find one but its ok. Close the regedit window and restart the system.
Check if your drive is able to read the disc already. If not working then you may have to consider reinstalling windows.
