Dont force feed the papers as far as they go! stop right where you get the first slight resistance, it will not double feed.
As regards not copying, is it connected to the pc? what oper sys ru using and which ie? does the hp director get displayed? get latest software from the hp website, compatible with ie7 and then try

Hi have a nice day!
You may try uninstall it and if you have installation cd install again.
If you have not it's installation cd you can download drivers and software needed at this link selecting your operating system.
A user guide is also available to download .
When installed try first to copy some document and if pages are blank start cleaning procedure to see if ink jets are blocked or replacement of ink cartriges needed.
If paper is not feeded properly (one by one) you must remove cover and inspect paper passes and rollers to be clean, and moving plastic gears on left side to be ok.
To remove cover you need a special long thin screwdriver to unscrew four holding screws
Any damage at gears must be repaired by yourself because there are not spare parts provided.
good luck!

It automatically print a page everytime I start my hp psc 1315

Hi Siddarth

In HP PSC 1315 printer after replacing new Ink Cartridges the printer always prints Alignment test page every time you turn it ON.To resolve this problem you must complete the alignment process.

Steps

1.Turn the printer ON.
2.Once its ON, it will print the Alignment page. Place the page in the scanner bed correctly.
3.Then Press START SCAN button.
4.The power light will start blinking, wait until the power lights turns solid.
5.Now Alignment process is over.Discard the paper from scanner.
6.Turn the printer OFF and then ON, it will not print that page again.

Note:Please follow this steps every time when you replace the Cartridges.

Trouble shooting my printer all in one 1315 series

You need to clean the rollers in the back panel of the printer.

Unplug the printer while it is powered on and remove the back panel. Get a damp cloth (not too wet) and wipe off the rubber rollers in the printer as well as on the panel. Replace the panel and plug printer back in. It should come on by itself and initialize.

Print a page from your computer. It should now only feed a single sheet at a time.

Hp psc 1315 paper jam

Hi,

. Switch off the printer and disconnect the power supply. Allow any residual charge inside the all-in-one printer to dissipate before putting your hands or any metal tools inside the chassis.

2.
Pin down the exact location of the jam. The 3 hot spots for a jam are before a sheet completely leaves the paper tray, anywhere between the feed tray and print carriage or between the print carriage and output tray.

3.
Take off the front paper tray if the sheet jammed while still in the front area of the printer. If here, you should be able to see most of the paper.

4.
Pull the sheet with both hands and steady pressure. Do not tug as you might rip the paper, leaving a piece deeper inside the machine.

5.
Open the back panel to reach paper jammed between the feed-tray area and print carriage. Carefully remove the jammed paper.

6.
Use the carriage access door to get at a jam further inside the printer. You may need to remove the print carriage to get to the jam.

7.
Replace all parts and return any access panels to their closed and locked positions. Plug your printer back in and flip the power switch.
