HI. I HAVE 42" PLASMA TV PHILIPS , POWER LIGHT RED IS FLUSHING, NO SCREEN , NO MENUE NOTHING.WHEN YOU CONNECT THE POWER CORD YOU HERE THE POWER SOUND.PL GIVE ME IDEA IS IT JUST THE BUFFER BORD OR YSUS BOARD AS WELL.OR MAY BE SOMETHING ELSE.THANKS ARAIN.

This problem is common with Philips plasma televisions, the most common failure in plasmas is the YSUS board, this is the most common part to start with. Depending on how many times the red light is blinking will give you an indication of the system error code. My experience with plasmas especially philips is to replace the Y and XSUS boards together. Altho I have ran into having to replace the Viper assembly also, this is the rest of the boards which comes as a hole assembly. But lets start with the YSUS first.
