Simple, your monitor power is set to turn off automatically at the particular time (maybe 5 mins, 10 mins, 1 hour etc...) You can reset this by following the steps below: For XP)- 1. Right Click on the Desktop - Properties - Screen Saver - Power - Turn off monitor and set it to Never. More or less similar with Vista and Windows 7, Good luck.

I Have bought many computers from wrecking yards and saved a lot of money. The persom adviseing you there is no memory is sadly mistaken but thats ok. One other thing I wish you would try is to disconnect battery for about one minute. setting the computer to factory specs try that and see if it changes anything. all computers have memorys sence mid 80s next time your engine light comes on go to Auto Zone and get it checked but dont turn the car off leave running

just check out by your rams. because tyhe problem may be with the rams .if the rams are working fine just connect the monitior to the opower socket.do not connect the monitor to the cpu .if the monitor switches on perfectly thenthe problem is with the motherboard .

Had the clutch replaced car starts find but will shut off

NUMEROUS POSSIBLE CAUSES! Does the Check Engine light come ON when this happens? Whenever the "Check Engine" light comes on, there is always a DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) stored in the ECM (Engine Control Module). You'll need an OBDII (On-Board-Diagnostics) scanner to retrieve any codes recorded/set in ECM. Once you do this and let us know what, if any codes are set, then we can go from there.

Computer reboots after I shut down

Hi there...
MMMMMmmmmmmmm can you be more specific ? has it recently started to do this or has it done this since you purchased the computer ? Are you trying to shut it down from the windows shutdown menu or are you pressing the power button to let windows shut it down ?? I Need more information before I can help you work out whats going on with your computer ...If its only just started to happen you may have a virus or a trojan infecting your system or your bios has become corrupted. The windows registry may have become corrupted or your power supply is faulty...the problems that could cause this are numerous , please be more specific about how you are shutting the computer down..

Computer shut off

you have a hardware conflict or a bad power supply/MB. or a bad video card/driver. or a bad RAM chip. uninstall everything but one chip, one HDD and CDROM, and one video card. install the OS rom there... then add items until it becomes unstable. the last thing you installed is the bad boy.

Blank monitior

There is probably some electronic malfunctions inside your monitor. Since I will not be able to actually check your monitor, the best solution for this is bring your monitor to a qualified TV/CRT technician in your area for proper diagnosis. He's the right expert and the second opinion to that kind of problem. Problems regarding inside the monitor are usually not fix-it-yourself kind of thing for non-expert like you compared to software problem, which can be mostly fix by yourself guided by an expert.
