Question about Brother HL-2040 Laser Printer
Probably it is just something wrong with the sensors..so ..check again to see if the mobile parts are inserted in the right position ..and try to make a general reset like it is described in the manual..Usually when stuff like this gets mad..resetting will make things ok ..but Im not sure for this model what is the exact procedure...for most models general reset is made by powering off..remove cable ..insert again and when power on ..keep the button pressed for about 20 seconds..Other models have a special button for reset or have a menu with all kinda resets into including a total reset..
