Hi, i don't know the exact power board you speak of, most fuses for power supply protect ac inboard power, and backlights. if backlight inverters touch ground or ground out, this will blow fuse. otherwise, the fused circuit is used for main inboard power going to primary capacitor. take an automotive fuse holder and solder test leads long enough to work with, install 4 amp blade fuse and jumper/solder the circuit to the fuse on the board and power on the monitor. if all goes well, probably just power surge or outlet grounded. if blows fuse, check to board for obvious burns or blown capacitors. if not there, unplug backlights and power on, if still blows, check to make sure no direct conact with board and back of screen. just be thorough about looking carefully for shorts if there is one. and don't forget to replace the factory fuse on the board with the correct one after you finish repairing, don't leave that automotive fuse in. good luck.

The fuse in my BR 300 ATX power supply has blown, what is its replacement part

You need to replace the fuse and dis connect the power supply to the mother board and turn nit back on and if the fuse blowns again then it is the power supply, that is bad, bou if it blowns only when connected to the mother board, the mother has a bad component on it.

My viewsonic lcd has no power. What seems to be the problem? thanks in advance.

Look for bad caps first and main AC fuse, yours is very similar to VA702.
If you are going to DIY and have proper tools and know safety precaution then please read on:
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply (they should be replaced in a set), blown fuses; poor solder joints, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed VIEWSONIC monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

Where is the power fuse located

fuse is located at the power supply section.to get to the power supply you need to remove the back cover of your monitor..after you remove the cover you can see the power supply..and the fuse is place on the pcboard and there are two fuses the primary fuse and the secondary fuse....be careful when replacing the blown fuse...do it only once once you replace the fuse and blown again there is a problem on your power supply...replace your power supply with a new one...

hope this could help you...goodluck!

My wii console will not power on. have checked all plugs and everything is connected and outlet has power

HI. the power supply board has failed. There is a fuse(3amps) inside the power supply unit. you will need to remove the cover from the power supply to access this fuse. once inside the power supply, inspect the fuse. if it is truly blown, replace it. if the fuse is not blown, this will confirm a failed power supply unit. it should be replaced in this case...

Q19wb Monitor Replacement Part Numbers Needed

Look on eBay for "Optiquest Q19wb repair" or "Optiquest Q19wb power"

This is a common failure mode. You can either buy a set of capacitors and solder them in, or buy a replacement power supply board if you cannot solder.

One eBay seller notes the power board as an ILPI-025, which is common among the following models:

Power Board ILPI-025 For LG W1934S & Viewsonic VG1930WM & Optiquest Q19WB & Acer AL1916W Ab etc

No picture or sound on tv

This sounds like a power supply problem. Check for a blown fuse in the unit. If there is no blown fuse then the power supply might have a shorted or open component in it. Check for the blown fuse first if the fuse is not blown or it can not be fixed by changing the fuse then the next culprit is the power supply, you will have to have a qualified TV technician do this.

I hope this helps
Thank you
