Restriction code and network unlock code is same..Nokia Phone asks restriction code..If your Nokia Locked to network and you are trying to inserting other GSM Network sim card it will display the message "Enter Restriction Code" Without unlocking it you cannot use other GSM Network sim card.After Unlock it you can use only gsm sim card...

Good day. I suggest you must reformat your phone, coz since your phone is locked with the previous network. Definitely you cant use other sim card. Need to reformat or convert to open line. Thanks

have you checked if your phone is locked to orange? you can do this by inserrting a simcard from other networks such as o2 and try if you can use it to make a call, send sms, or access the internet. however, if are unable to do so, you need to have your phone unlocked. try asking o2 if they can help you with unlocking your phone since you will be using their network.
