Question about HP DesignJet 5500PS InkJet Printer
This is a very simple procedure. Advance to the print head menu on the printers screen and scroll to replace printheads and press enter.
The machine will move the print head carriage into a position on the left side rail that has a small access door. Lift the window and access the printheads behind the access door. The printheads have a loop to grasp to pull upwards and out. look at the diagram and instruction that come with your new printhead.
Replace the printhead, be sure to take the protective plastic off. close the door and window and follow the instruction to replace the printhead cleaner which is located behind the left front panel.
