What type of Batteries does it use

Your camera can use two types of power either four AA's or two of the Olympus type CR-V3 batteries. If you don't have batteries for it now I'd suggest purchasing a four battery set with charger and an extra set of four rechargeable so you have a total of eight rechargeable batteries. That way you can be using a set of batteries while another set is on the charger.
Hers is a diagram of the battery set up for your camera.

Hi... I have a Kodak EasyShare CD82 Digital

Sherry, have you tried to replace the battery of your camera? The recommended battery for your camera are the Ni-MH battery and the Alkaline battery. Now if you already using this type of battery and still your LCD screen is black its time for you to call Kodak at 1 800 235 6325 ext 12, it means that the LCD screen of the camera is already defective.

Zoom H4 Battery Problem

I am having the same problem with my Zoom-H2. I have 2 2650 mah rechargeables, and the draw is such that 20-30 minutes of record &/or playback kills the batteries. Last night I just turned the power on and did nothing. 5 hours later the batteries were dead...

The battery died during the summer... so the lens were left sticking out instead of going back in. it stayed that way for 2 months because i left it at my sister's house. when i got it back, it was still...

purchase an alkaline battery and replace with the old one, power up, wait for some time, select slideshow option, then back to camera view then power down..wait for 1 minute, power up again test your zooming results, if it is working well then all is OK......for more info. try to use a battery that is the same and use the same brand all the time for your camera......

Sigma EF-500 DG super

The Sigma EF-500 flashes have very small chromed contacts for the batteries. Even though they may not look corroded, they may not power up or conduct enough power to fully cycle up. Use a polishing tip in a dremel or an ink eraser tip to clean the internal wire contacts and the flat contacts on the door. I use dielectric grease on a q-tip to apply a coat to all contacts and cleaned battery terminals to minimise future issues.

Camera wont turn on, even though it has new batteries in it

I had the same problem with my camera, all i could do was just send it in, and let the people fix it, for like 60 bucks...
then i got it back, and it happened like a week later, so it still had its warranty on it, so i sent it back, and they fixed it, and now it works,
so i would probally just send it in...

My camera wont turn off

I've purchased several of these cameras used as we liked our first on and it eventually failed with this same problem. I have had four of these now and they all end up with this same problem. Take the battery out then turn the selector to any new position and then off, put the battery back it and the lens should recline and camera turn off. One of the cameras would then work for a while after doing this but then hang up again. I think this is a very common problem based on my experience but no other confirmation than yours.
