After been checked here by profissional to repair it has concluded that this not the lamp problem but other part problem'
I look to identify this part other than Lamp.

The Toshiba lamps has been purchased by myself as spare part when I got the Toshiba TLP - S 30 projector.
I keep this lamp without any use for about 4 years.

First time When I tried to work with this new lamp the projector worke well for more than 02 hours.
Second time when I tried again to work with the projecto the lamp only last for about 01 hour before come out.
After that lamp can not come on...lamp star to come on on for seconds and does not continue.
Is there any other part other than lamp that coul cause this problem.
According the manual could be other part with defect.
Try to purchage new lamp with that cost and discover that the problem will stay there will be expensive for me.
This the reason that I am try find what else can cause same defects other them lamps

This is what Tishiba indicates in the manual for your problem:

Lamp went out during use, or won’t come on
→ Returns to standby after about 2 minutes. If the projector fails to
operate normally after turning the power back on, either the lamp
needs replacing, or there is a problem with the projector.
• If a lamp burns out, replace it with a new one.
• Unplug the power cord, and contact your dealer.

Obviously you are at the contact your dealer part which isn't really a good situation since you are in Brazil. Researching parts will get back to you when I find something.

You best bet is to disassemble the project and look at the boards themselved. Look for burnt or loose components. There most likely is only a few board, probably a power board and a main board. My money is on the main board as power seems good. Look for a part number on the board itself and goodle that. Should be able to find it on eBay if you have the board number. Would be easier than looking for the part list or service manual online and is probably fairly easy to take apart.

I've always trusted and sugested Infocus as a projector brand. They make very reliable products.

Viewsonic is also a good brand, the PJ503D is a small SVGA (800X600) projector in the $500 USD range.

Dell also markets their own line of projectors. The 1800MP is well reviews (4.9 out of 5 stars) and their service and support is really good.

If you put a new Toshiba lamp either the new lamp is defective, or it
had not monted in the right way. Ensure that the right part had been
installed. The original Toshiba lamp costs nearly same price as
projector. Here is an example of new lamp for sale,
its price is over $300. Part number for the lamp is Part #:TLPLV1. If
you bought an original Toshiba lamp you should have 90 days cashback
warantee on the lamp. In this case take it back to retailer and get a
    replacement.

This international seller sells second hands parts for
your device for a cheap price. Buy at your own risk if you want. Here
is a part search with links to more seller. Your projector has only one
lamp, and its RRP is over $400. Chech that the lamp you got it is well
in place, if it is and is giving you the mentioned error msg., then
either lamp is faulty, is not well installed, or is not right lamp for
    your
    mode

If lamps get red after two mins it is faulty or wrong lamp Part number is #:TLPLV1. check the links above for woldwide retailer from USA Check also this list

I fthe lamp overheats is likely to be the lamp, other parts problem can only be the power adapter, this. will blow the projector. To get to that conclusion the repairer must have tested a different lamp (has he got one? it costs $400) and must have ensured wrong voltage is getting to lamp, if it did this he should have solved the problem already.
If same repair shop sold you the replacement lamp, then a possibility is that the repairer tried to get out of troubles for selling a wrong expensive lamp, telling you is not the lamp. If the lamp is overheating remove the lamp from inside and replace with right one above. Show this thread translated to your local repairman and see what he says. If he knows it is not the lamp , he should know what the problem is.

If you really want to verify what the repairman sayed then buy a Digital Multimeter and check that power coming out from lamp contacts has right volts/amps values, or very near values, as ones indicated in your lamp specs, and check also that power is stable. If values are ok , then your repairmen was wrong. If values are not ok, then apologies to your repairman, and in this case you will probably need to change the power supply unit inside the projector.

HI,

Make sure the lamp cover is in place as it has a plunger on it which closes a switch . If the switch is open you will never power on. With the cover remover you can manually activate the switch too and it will power up.

For more troubleshooting steps you can see the user manual from HERE

Goodluck,

I have a Toshiba TLP-S30 and lately the color balance of the projected image is way off. I've tried adjusting the color balance via the menu, but no improvement. Could this problem be fixed with a new...

reset the settings to factory default. sometimes the lamp will burn at a lower temp at the end of it's life and emits a different color. might be the lamp or the ballast. if all else fails, replace the main board.

Internal fan location in TLP S30, I get an error message about internal fan problem

one of the fans arent working. there should be at least 3- one for the lamp, one for the power supply, and at least one for the lcd panels. you should be able to see the one for the lamp and power supply from the outside. if both are spinning, it's the other one, which you might be able to see from the bottom.

Toshiba Projector TLP 651 lamp problem

yes resetting the lamp hour might be the issue but not necessarily. It could also be a temperature issue as the fan (s) might have stopped or a temp sensor issue is faulty. check your manual for resetting lamp hours. Regards Kevin Andreassend www.iceav.co.nz iceavtech@gmail.com
