Question about Computers & Internet
I have a Tom tom one. I have recently purchased from Tom Tom the latest British and Irish maps to upgrade my unit.
I've signed up to Tom Tom home to enable the download, as instructed I then plug the unit into my PC, turn the unit on and although my computer recognises the Tom Tom in the F drive I get what do I want to do drop down which is all about photoshop, opening powerpoint or folders. None of the options facilitate down loading the maps I've purchased.
The only problem that may exist with my PC is that i have XP and although I'm the only user I dont seem to have administrator rights and am classed as a user.
Please help me.
Go to control panel, then go to user accounts, find your account and change account type, you then can change to administrator.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
