Can not sign in forgot password

According to me you can use "Forgot Password" option to reset your password (you will need to answer your security question or to provide alternate email address to send password reset mail). If still you are not able to reset password (with "Forgot Password" option) then you can use messenger password recovery software (click http://lmgtfy.com/?q=yahoo+Password+Recovery+stellar to search) to recover it.

first of all try to retrieve your password by clicking on forgot your password link at the bottom of the yahoo messenger's window. and then enter the optional id which you had submitted while filing the online sign up form for yahoo..

then
yahoo will ask u the security question wat u wrote while creating ur id answer to those question then can rest ur password

well u can try this if you can get yahoo home page up reinstall yahoo messenger then you should be able to follow the instructions to get your password.

If you are not able to sign on to your yahoo messenger then follow these steps to fix it:-

Step 1. Are you able able to log on to yahoo mail by going into www.yahoo.com and then singing on to your yahoo mail account

If you are able to access your yahoo mail that means the problem with yahoo messenger.

then try uninstalling and reinstalling yahoo messenger and it will work.

Step 2. If you are not able to access Your yahoo emails that means its not accepting your password , which likely can be a cause that you have forgot your password or somebody hacked your yahoo password.

Step 3. Immediately now try to retrieve you yahoo password by going into forgot password section in yahoo account below sign in screen. It ask you the security question and if you are able to give correct answer then you can retrieve your yahoo password or you can change it.ou

Step 4. if yahoo at&t is your ISP then you can also call them to reset your password.

Hello; maybe you forgot password or id,
click the forgot password link or can't access my account on yahoo sign in section..
they will ask few questions you've been provided during your registration like secret questions..
make sure to provide answer to make you retreive/reset or access your account..then follow
instruction from the site..after completion,you can then access your facebook account too.

Go to sign in page and click forgot password below where you normally sign in, it will take you to where you need to reset the password.

Open Yahoo Messenger and at the very bottom, click on the "forgot password" link and follow their steps to reset your password for your yahoo account. Once that is done try signing in again. Cheers!
