Zanussi 23 in. ZDi6053SX Built-in Dishwasher Logo
Anonymous Posted on Mar 28, 2008

I brought a Zanussi ZDT6053 integrated. - Fixed in position - buttons light up but does not fill in oor start.

A new Zanussi purchased at a store, I managed tio remove the old one and fixed this new unit - this is an integrated unit.
All buttons light up properly, but when program it, ie. say set on 75 heat or quick wash or any, shut the door, but dopes not fill in, I mean water does not fill in. What could be the problem?
Sincere regards buddy.

Dearest FixYa,
Thanks ever so much for your prompt response and am ever so grateful for standing to support anyone in problem.
Fortunately, I have solved the problem.
Basically the problem was that the water supply tube would kink when unit was pushed back into its space under the kitchen top. And it was totally difficult to see that problem from he rear of the unit.
Last effort wasto monitor every thing as the unit was showly pushed bak under the kitchen top. This time it was discovered that the water tube happened to be seen clearly from underneath the unit as 'kinked'.
When straightened, the unit simply went 'full in motion, and hey presto it worked straignt away.
Thanks for your 'standing by' to support with an army and great team of 'experts behind you.
Sincere regards

My Zanussi Electrolux Essential 1200 washing machine ZWF12070W1

Most times unplugging a washer for 5 min or so will reset to factory. Some units just a quick unplug works too. But I'm not totally familiar with yours.
If it's going to be hard to unplug just turn off the breaker to it.
Hope this helps

I HAVE A ZANUSSI CONDENSER THAT AFTER STARTING WITHIN ONE MINUETE THE LIGHT IS SHOWING THAT THE RESERVOIR NEEDS EMPTYING WHEN THERE IS NO WATER IN IT.

We have the same issue and i have turned the machine upside down today to find there is a condenser valve inside the connecting pipe that connects to the reservoir tank to allow it to fill. This valve has come adrift as an 'O' ring has come off of the end. I need to source a new 'O' ring from a hardware store or DIY store, which should solve the problem.

Zanussi zdt6053 will not fill with water, on any programme, it appears to try to start and makes a moise as if pumping, but there is not water to drain, and pump appears to operate if water is poured into...

Check float valve. It is probably stuck. This tells yuor machine to pump the water out and keeps the water valve from opening. Often it is something small that was placed in the dishwasher and lodges under the float telling machine that it is full of water when it is not. The float is somewhere on the bottom inside the machine typically. Make sure it moves freely.
