Question about Craftsman Garden
This unit was in storage for about 3 yrs but was drained of all fuel. Now won't start. Have narrowed problem down to fuel delivery. Gas tank & fuel line are clear. Disassembled carb and flushed with carb cleaner. Can get it to fire by putting a few drops of fuel directly into cylinder. Runs for few seconds and stalls. Are there there internal passages in the carb that need servicing? All other carb functions seem to be normal (float, needle & choke & throttle plates). Any help would be appreciated.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Your engine model # 128602 Type 0212-E1. Forget about ordering from Sears and paying shipping and waiting a week. Go to your local Briggs and Stratton dealer (most shops are) and buy part # 694395. Should cost about $3.00

Had one on my saw mill had this problem as well Try pulling bowl off bottom of carby as the float can get **** with old fuel especially ethanol fuels as they attract water bowl is normally held on with one center screw on bottom of carby. Note always turn fuel off and let engine run out of fuel as this stops goop from building up in carby

Are you sure you got all the passageways in the carb cleaned out?
How did it look when you first disassebled it? Full of rust and gunk or just shellac on the surfaces?
Take the fuel line off at the carb and MAKE SURE that fuel flows freely. I have seen trash get in the tank and plub the other end up. Does it have a vaccuum operated fuel pump?
