If there is not room to work with the screw clamp type, look for the spring clamp type where you squeeze the clamp to spread it open and then slide it into place and release it. Look at appliance parts stores and maybe stores like lowes.

Can't fit flexible hose onto dryer vent

An oval dryer hose can be installed by squeezing it back into the desired round shape as you fit it to the outlet. With time and infinite patience it can be done.

Bottom venting Electric Dryer

If you never find one, can you do this? Build a 5 inch platform for the dryer to sit on,( out of wood), and then take a flexible hose and run it from the back of the dryer to the hole in the floor under the dryer?.
Dryer vent hoses come in metal or plastic. Some metal ones have a 90 degree elbow included which would make the turn under the dryer easier.
Be blessed.

I bought a DeLonghi PACC120E portable a/c with no manual. Also, how do I vent it? It did not come with the vent.

All units of that sort come with a hose which goes on the back or the side, if you don't have this unit is useless

Water appears on the floor infront of the freezer side occasionally and ice is forming at the bottom of the freezer? Everything else works fine. Someone told me I need to put a vinegar mixture down that...

Hello, I'm going to assume this is a side by side, this sounds like you have a blockage in the drain tube, remove panel back of freezer..you may see ice build up...melt ice with hair dryer/heat gun...you will see a pan below evaporator...melt ice in pan...dry water up in pan with paper towel...now you should see a hole in pan that leads to drain tube...pour some hot water in pan..wait a couple minutes..mop up water and repeat this step 2-3 times....once you have done this find some flexible curatain wire or electrical wire..poke down the hole until you see the water drain..now it is clear..put back panel back and you are good to go. The reason you see water in the fridge is because the water has been leaking down the vent instead of the drain hole...If you need any further assistance please feel free to comment again. good luck! P.s Please don't forget to rate my solution thanks! Mike

Dryer Hookup

Simply move the dryer back against the wall.
Take a straight edge and place it at the 12 o'clock position on top of the dryer vent. Touch the wall with the straight edge. Mark the wall. Cut a 4" round hole below the wall mark.
Adjust dryer levelings legs if necessary.

Maytag Model PYE2300AYW Heats for short time

In most every case i have seen this happen, the dryer is connected to flexible venting. Flexible venting is the worst thing for a dryer. Rigid aluminum only. If your element shuts down that fast, it is definitely an air flow problem. Remove the front, clean out the lint screen housing from the spout to the blower, all the way to the lint screen so that it looks factory clean. The venting must be absolutely clean as it was the day it was put in new. The outside application, whether it is louvers, vent flapper, or ball vent, must be clean and operable as a new one. Once again, my suspicion is the venting as it is most likely a flexible type of venting with either excessive length or restricted flow. A dryer can only be vented for 30 ft. counting 5ft for every elbow and 5ft for the outside application. But the flexible equates as this...for every 1 foot of flex you must add 5 foot because of air restriction. I am surprised that the non resetable fuse has not blown yet. ( it will, trust me.)

Need to side vent LG dryer

if you have an opening on the side then yes you can shorten the stiff tube that comes out the back but i recommend you get a stiff elbow to make the turn and add whatever is needed to come out the side then attach the flexible to the wall. that's the safe way of doing it. That air is pretty hot in the cabinet

I need to change the exhaust pipe vent for my tumble dryer. it has ripped. how do i go about fixing this or do i need a professional?

you can put an aluminum duct tape to the ripped portion just to stop hot air from venting from the damaged portion. or if the ripped portion is near the end where you put the flexible hose, then maybe you can move the flexible hose as far as it can reach as to cover the ripped portion of the vent pipe. then secure the flexible hose with a good hose clamp. i hope i was able to help
