Is this a refillable cartridge you're using or a genuine HP OEM...
If it's a CIS, refillable or some kind of cartridge which is not made by HP then chances are the ink nozzle has failed and allowed the yellow ink to leak everywhere...
There are a lot of problems with these 3rd party cartridges and I would never recommend using anything other than a refilled HP cartridge or a genuine one.

first of all disconnect the power cable from the back of the printer
press and hold the power button for 20-30 seconds
reconnect the power cable turn onn the printer
if you still get the same mesage , follow the steps mentioned in the URL below
if still it does not work call hp your printer is in warranty and they will replace the unit for you........................... hope this works .............thank you (HAMID)
