Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3
If your phone still works fine, (receive calls etc) but the screen is black, then
it is very possible that the flex cable under the front cover has become loose. There is a fix
that is doable yourself if you are handy, otherwise you will need to
take it for servicing.
You can try just pressing on the lower left hand corner of the screen while powering the phone on and that might help. Otherwise follow the steps in this Motorola Disassembly Guide to expose the flex cable connections for the screen.
Corrupt firmware or a 'bad flash' can produce the same white screen, but no functionality, so I recommend you review that tutorial.
I hope that helps.

Screen is for just viewing purpose. It works exactly as Monitor of the computer. your screen has stop functioning. You have to replace your screen......
Since You said that only character has lost( i.e. if you can see wallpaper) then reset you cell to factory defaults..... if problem persist then update or reinstall software.........
