Question about Canon PIXMA iP1800 InkJet Photo Printer
How I can remove the 'waste ink absorber is full" massage
I have put 2 files on my website for you 2 try out, they are the tools program that you use for resetting the waste ink pads and resetting inks ands so on for your printer.
You may have to try the 2 see what one will work for you,
Most IP-Tools will some times work for lots of printers.
Click Link = http://www.4all2sell.com/reset-tools/iPTool.exe
Click Link 2= http://www.4all2sell.com/reset-tools/iPTool.zip
Ones you have downloaded just double click on it to run it.
One of the files is in a WinZip format so if you not got WinZip on your PC you can download free from this Link = http://www.winzip.com/trialpay.htm
There no easy way the printers are been made this way so you take them to the shop, but if you are handy with your hands and know what you are doing then you will need to take all apart and take out the ink pads inside the printer and clean them up make sure they nice dry when put back in, then you are going to need a program that you can find on the internet it will be called waste reset tools, or your printer will not work even after you done the clean out.
Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.
All The Best: Pineworks All files on my website are only there for a limited time.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Eight flashes: Waste ink absorber almost full
The printer has a built-in waste ink absorber for the ink used during Print Head cleaning. Eight flashes indicates that the waste ink absorber is nearly full. Press the RESUME/CANCEL button to cancel the error so you can continue printing. Before the waste ink absorber becomes completely full, contact a Canon service representative.
Canon recommends that you call for service as soon as this error occurs. Once the waste ink absorber becomes completely full, printing will no longer be possible
