They are very hard to remove, gently flick out with a small knive whilst holding corner up with finger nail etc.
It doe's work, but be gentle.

SOURCE: Sim card stuck

I just had a look at my phone, unless the card is glued in it should easily come out, try using a small pin to give you more grip

Alcatel one touch sim stuck in sealed phone, no tray just a slot next to the SD card holder. Can anyone please help me if they know how to get it out??

can you take a pic of the slot and how the sim card is stuck in there? Have you tried a small needle in there to see if you can catch the end of the sim card and then pull it out?

I have a HTC sense from boost mobile it doesn't have a sim card even though it has a slot for one but its stuck on HTC boot screen tried factory reset etc not working still gets stuck at HTC logo white...

Hi there
Just a thought but you mention that your phone doesn't have SIM card in it. Surely the SIM card is the heart of the phone, rather like a CPU in a computer, and during the phone boot process it will stall at a certain point if it doesn't find a SIM card to connect it to a phone network, in your case boost mobile.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya

Sim card

Hi, a pair of tweezers can be great help in this situation. If you don't mind damaging the stuck sim card, try heating a pin and sliding it into the plastic of the sim card (be careful not to damage your phone) allow the plastic around the pin to set. Once set pull the pin and hopefully the sim will come with it.

Phone stucking

Please check your SIM on another phone and if this works , try to insert another SIM on your phone Now carefully look at the SLOT of the SIM and see if ANY pins are damaged or is loose or bend . If so use a small pin to reset to be flat to contact with the SIM when inserted. If this wont help then it is best to get warranty support for the new phone than to remove and damage for losing the priviledge.

How do i clean my sim card

  • Hi

To clean your sim card, remove the SIM card from the phone. Rub a dense white eraser along the exposed metal part of the SIM card. Make sure that the eraser is brand new, otherwise you could get the SIM card even dirtier.

  • Remove the back of your phone and the SIM card. Spray canned air into the back of the phone, removing all dust and dirt particles, especially those that could be stuck in the SIM card groove.

Hi I have a nokia 6110 navigator and i tried to unlock my phone with the correct PUK number from my service provider but failed... it is now totally stuck on a message saying "sim card rejected" - can you...

PUK means "personal unlocking key" .

The PUK code is asked if you enter a wrong pin 3 times.

You need to call the phone company that released the SIM card, they can retrieve the puk code from a database for free.

In your case you need to contact your SIM card provider technical support to unlock the SIM.

The PIN and PUK are related to the SIM card, not to the phone.

If you replace the SIM card with a different one, then the phone will not ask for the PUK anymore.
