I have a GE profile that is 3 years old ,side by side model # is PSC25MSWASS ,the problem about this frig is that frost build up in the refrigerator side the freezer is good,so the refrigerator is not...

If frost is building up on the REFRIGERATOR side and NOT the freezer side, then the cooling tubes could become blocked. I would first check if the cooling fan http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-model/GE-Parts/Refrigerator-Parts/Model-PSC25MSWASS/0432/0165000/G0902008/00010?blt=06&prst=&shdMod= Item 922 is operating, if it is then I would check to make sure the the damper is opening or not it is Item 923 on the diagram. If both of them are function properly, then I would check the sensor http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-model/GE-Parts/Refrigerator-Parts/Model-PSC25MSWASS/0432/0165000/G0902008/00008 Item 236.

Express Thaw comes on when refrigerator door is closed

We have a GE Profile side-by-side refrigerator which we purchased in 2002, Model PSS25NGNACC. Today we had a repairman come to investigate why the Express Thaw 3lb. light was on and could not be shut off. If shut off, it came on again when the door was closed and reopened. The repairman called GE and learned that this light was an air filter change indicator which turns on at some interval (2 years, they said, although we don't remember ever seeing this before). The air filter involved is for the interior of the fridge and is not critical. GE said that newer master control boards have this function disabled, since people rarely changed the filter and GE no longer makes them. I have read our user manual cover to cover and find nothing on this filter. I guess we just have to pay the $70 dollars to have someone come and call GE to figure it out. But, enough of that. To reset the indicator, simultaneously press the following keys on the touchpad and hold for 5 seconds until it beeps:

Adjust Freezer Temp (Warmer)
Express Thaw
Adjust Refrigerator Temp (Colder)

Lights and functions should return to normal.

GE Profile Side by Side is getting too cold on the fridge side.

I have a GE refrigerator with the same problem of my food freezing in the refrigerator. I spoke to an appliance part person and they sold me a temperature sensor for 20 bucks. They said it would be located in the control panel, but I took the control panel off and can't find the sensor. I'm now looking on yahoo answers to find out where the sensor is located.

Everything in the refrigerator is freezing

The 37 degree reading you're seeing is the temp. setting, not the present actual temp. When it jumps back to 22-25 its telling you what the actual temp is inside the refrig....simply wait about 24 hours. It should then read about 37...that is, the temp you set it at 24 hours previously.
