IT WONT START JUST MAKES A CLICK SOUND BY THE DOOR AND SHUTS OFF

Sounds as if your door lock has gone over the cam or faulty, first plug out appliance look into the hole in the top of the door and with something like a small screwdriver pull back the cam now when you go to close the door make sure the striker is in line with the lock, if the cam does not pull back you will need to replace the lock.

Check the alternator

check the battery.

check the door switch,i don't work on lg but on any other dryer if the wsitch is broke the dryer won't start and if the light is on the switch shuts off the light and dryer will start.if you send the model number i can look up the switch for you.open the door and look around the frame where the door closes into,there should be a push button switch or a little paddle that the door hits,when you push in on the switch it should make a clicking sound or i've seen the paddle broke off.hope this helps or if you removed any wires to the door switch you might of wired it wrong

sounds like you blew your engine... something probably broke inside causing it to not be able to turn over.

The door switch is located near the dryer door and is activated when the door is closed. If the door switch fails, the dryer won't start at all. Many types of door switch will make an audible click when they are activated. If the door switch makes a clicking sound when activated it is probably not defective. If it doesn't make a click, it can be checked with an ohm meter or continuity checker. The door switch is relatively easy to replace and is usually not very expensive. The thermal fuse helps to prevent a dryer fire by shutting off power to the dryer if it overheats. If the dryer won't start check this fuse first. Test the thermal fuse with an ohm meter or continuity checker. This is the most common part to fail when the dryer won't start. Once the thermal fuse has blown, it has to be replaced. It can not be reset. Here is the fuse to order in case it is bad.

there is a switch on the dishwasher were the door shuts and u hear a click that switch tells the dishwasher when the door is shut and can start check the switch

sounds like the door catch is loose,this is what holds the door shut,when the clothes are spinning they hit the door opening it enough to reset the door switch,there's a metal or plastic tab that goes into the catch,easy to install and part is cheap money

You have a door sensor problem. Either your main light bulb is burned out or you don't have one in your opener. The clicking sound you hear is the relay for the light. Both of the door sensors should have a small light that is lit. Tweak them until they are.

Potential reasons for it: - Door Lock/Switch Assembly Failure - In this case it should be replaced. - Door Lock unit is broken or removed from the door. - Look for disconnected wires to the door Lock/Switch unit. - Door Lock/Switch unit Failure You should remove machine's top cover and then you will have an access to the door lock unit. Be aware you should discconect machine's power cable first !! Good luck!
