Question about HP Officejet 5510 All-In-One Thermal Printer

When printer is finish printing the last paper,

Having a issue on a HP OFFICEJET 5510 ALL IN ONE PRINTER.
The problem is after printing 2 or more sheet of paper,the paper will
not eject out. The paper stay in the tray and thump sound is being
herd. How can I fix it? Thank you for answers.

Try to clean the rollers from the rear end of the printer, open the rear access door and clean the rollers with glass cleaner and lint free cloth.

You can also perform the reset of the printer.

Reset the All-in-One to the factory default settings by using these instructions:

1. Unplug the power cable from printer when the printer is powered on and wait for 20 seconds.

2. Then, press and hold # and 6 while plugging in the power cord.

Continue holding until it displays Semi Full Reset message in the front panel of the All-in-One

Do you print regularly? When was the last time you changed the cartridge?

If you've changed it recently it's likely that your printer head is dirty. Clean (hot water and paper towels in a discardable container.... allow to sit for a good while, wipe gently replace in printer) or just completely replace the head.

HP 5510 All In One. Error message Paper Jam when printing photo paper 8X10. There is no paper jam. Plain paper runs right through.


Have you changed the paper properties to reflect that you are using a heavier weight paper?

If not, then the printer might not be set right for the paper you are using and that can cause the problem you are seeing.

Paper Jam when it is not jammed. Can't print.


It could be an issue with the printer, make sure that there is no paper jam or check for any tiny bits of paper is side the printer, that could cause the issue.
However try reseting the printer
Follow the below steps to reset the printer;
Reset the All-in-One to the factory default settings by using these instructions:

1. Unplug the power cable from printer when the printer is powered on and wait for 20 seconds.

2. Then, press and hold # and 6 while plugging in the power cord.

Continue holding until it displays Semi Full Reset message in the front panel of the All-in-One.
This should fix the issue.

HP 5510 Just stopped working properly in the middle of a doc.


Well, thet just proves that the problem is with the printer itself. I would guess that it is an issue with either the memory or the print engine itself in which case it would most likely require a trip in to a qualified HP service center to resolve the issue.

Where is the sensor located on an OfficeJet 5510?


Hi I suppose its would not be advisable for you to remove the sensor unless you know about the printer status. Please give it to a service provider who can diagnose and replace the sensor, Mostly sensors are basically for paper trays to pick up and print the printouts

ok how is the computer hook to printer ,
(usb? or serial cord) ?
what operating system are you using
and what software are you using for print drivers
