Toshiba Satellite A135-S2266 asked for bios password and i put the wrong one in and the system is now disabled. help!


The battery on the motherboard needs to be removed and the board will drain. Leave it ten mins and refit battery. It will let you into the bios where if you want you can input the password you want.

I have toshiba satelite model A 135- S2266. after instaling Nokia Software, my laptop totaly was freezed and shutdown. when i tried put On , everything was blank and looking for bios pasword Phoenix Bios...


To reset the BIOS password read the information from this link.

In case of your laptop the easiest method would be using software from Hiren's Boot CD as it's pretty hard to open it up and reach for the CMOS battery or the jumper.

I hope that this will help. Do not be alarmed by the fact the link points to the "Memory Module Installation". In order to get to the memory on your Toshiba, you will have to remove the keyboard.

Try taken the battery out. Plug a/c directly to it with battery out. See if you get anything. ANY LIghts on? Please respond
